Course Curriculum Overview
I will say that civil engineering is vast branch in which there is much scope for government as well as private jobs . The practical and labs are good and teaches us practical application including test and vivas . The teaching skills should be improved by teachers . They should focus more on practicals instead of theory. The exams are held twice in each semester including mid term and end term examinations. The difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
More than 250 companies/ recruiters visit the institute including tata , zindal steel , Google , Flipkart, Amazon . The roles offered are according to the skills of students. The internships are according to 6months /yearly .
Placement Experience
The third-year and fourth-year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that come in our class are Mercedes -Benz, Adobe, Flipkart, Amazon, Samsung, zindal steel, tata. The offers are made according to the skills of students. The highest placement is 84 lakhs and the average package is 12 lakh. The overall placement percentage is around 70. I have plans of doing a startup or in civil services.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is system of fee remission and scholarship in our college according to the annual income of family and the caste in which the student belong . It costs around 1.5 lakh per annum including hostel , tution fee and other compulsory charges . There are many scholarships but I can't remember the name of them .
Campus Life
There are two major fest in our college namely blitzchlag and sphinx . The blitzchlag is a cultural fest which is held in February while sphinx is a technical fest which is held in November . There is vast and vivid range of sphinx including knowledge, academics . The classroom is equipped with modern equipments including smart board , projectors , ac's , ventilation system. There are many sports offered in campus for the students to show their skills in their most likely sports. The clubs are many including photography, robotics and aero modelling which teaches extra skills other than academics.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are according to which year the student belong . The first years students stays in a 3 seater room which there is a provision of single seater room thereafter. The food quality is so nice and it can be changed by students . The menu is according to the season includin rice , daal , sweets , ice creams . The area around our college is so good that we can even rent a room or pg but the prices would be high.
Admission
I have given jee mains and jee advanced for entering this college and qualified for the same . As far the application form , aaplication fees and application dates are considered I got it from the website of NTA( national testing agency). The exams are taken semester wise in which there is mid term and end term examinations . Mid term is held in Feb - March and October months , while end term is held in May as well as December. The difficulty level is moderate according toh the mid term and end term . The frequency of helding exam is good according to the ease for all students so that they can have the time for enjoyment as well as for studying. The admission process in mnit (malaviya national institute of technology) is good. It just takes around 2-3 hours and there is proper arrangements for the smooth conduction of admission process
