MNIT JAIPUR: An Underrated TOP NIT.

Curriculum is designed well where in 1st year subjects like Electrical, Electronics, Economics, English, Chemistry, AutoCAD and many other are taught. Teacher Level definetely varies from person to person but overall teaching staff is actually nice. Exams are generally in a span of 1.5 months. We have exam in every 1.5 months which takes place in a span of 1 week for theory and another 1 week for lab exams. Anything which can be made better is time span of semester, it feels too quick for everyone.

There are many internships opportunities available in this college. Most of students here gets placed in big companies like Goldmann, Berkshire Hathaway, McKinsey etc. so intenship are of this college is pretty solid.

Placement wise it can be said decent, this year 58% of student has been placed where highest placement was recorded by Mechanical (~75%) and Chemical (~60%) meanwhile Civil got only (~60%), though this is a period of recession so reduction in placement can be seen in almost every college so these data is not bad. further no data has been released yet about placement.

Fees structure is fixed but is loosen for reserved category students and for those who have financial problems. EWS can avail fees benefits here where institue fees is reduced or completely omitted. Considering scholarships there are many available options for those in need. Total Cost for Education considering you are General and your family earns more than 5 LPA will be around 95,000 per year which is pretty less compared to other colleges.

Overall campus life is pretty solid and really fun. We have lots of big space to have fun in college, there are two major fests in MNIT Jaipur known as SPHINX (Tech-fest) and BLITZSCHLAG (Cultural-fest). Classrooms, Computer Center and Library are equipped with Air Conditioners, and have a really good Wi-Fi speed. There is presence of many social clubs like Photography Club, Music, Dance (Level-X & MC^2), Finance Club, INFOSEC (Cybersecurity) and many more.

Hostel facility can range from good to bas considering your hostels. For 1st years there are accomodation in one of two hostels, Drona and Vinodini. Drona is 3-story old building which okayish in almost everything and have most of services but mess of drona is pretty good and actually enjoyable. Vinodini is a new hostel (built in 2019) and have almost every service you want in a hostel but it's mess is not a very good option. People don't really like it's mess, However new menu for mess has been designed which is said to better than previous one.

Eligibility of Admission in MNIT Jaipur is simply from JEE Mains Score and having atleast 75% marks in CBSE or any other equivalent board. Application to this college took place through Josaa counselling where application form, fees and dates were provided. Reservation helps in loosing some cutoff in JEE Mains and in fees (Institute fees is zero for reserved candidates). Exams for JEE took place during Jan-April.
