I chose this course on my interest and faculties are very friendly and kind. All the faculties are highly educated. Exams are take twice a year and in between them some extra tests, viva and practical exam are also taken

My name is Anjali pandey and I'm from madhya pradesh. I have done my schooling from Uttar Pradesh, DAV public school. I came Kolkata for my further studies. I'm pursuing engineering from techno international college. Currently I'm in a first year and I'll my best here to come up the best.

Campus Life

Campus is little bit short but good. Faculties and staff's are very kind and friendly.. you will surely enjoy there. Campus is very clean and decorative also. Seniors are also good...they don't act like seniors, they are like friends. Inshort, campus is good but little short.

Admission

10+2 passed is compulsory with 50% and then you have to appear in WBJEE examination in West Bengal. Application form will be available on official website of WBJEE. Lower cast's get reservation means they will get admission in low rank but general category will not get any reservation. Direct admission is also taken in some colleges on the basis of your 12th marksheet (merit based).

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

THERE ARE FAR BETTER OPTIONS

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
