- Internal exams are taken 10 days after the commencement of the new semester
- Commute by foot takes about 30 mins, which is very tiresome especially in summer
Course Curriculum Overview
- I'm currently pursuing my b.tech in cse, I think the demand in this sector will only increase in future, also I have interest in game development. That's why I chose CSE - the cericulum itself will not be very helpful I think, It's all depends on how hard you work on your skills, and have a variety of skills so that you can tackle any difficult situation.
Internships Opportunities
Techno International New Town is a tier 3 college so no internship opportunities are provided by the college. You can apply for any internship on your own, but you'll not get any offers provided by the college
Placement Experience
- students become eligible for campus placement from 7 th semester onwards. - companies like TCS, WIPRO, Accenture, IBM, L&T, Cognizant, Amazon and many more. - around 40 % students for CSE have been pleased as of now.
Fees and Financial Aid
-first year 170000/- Second year- 147000/- Third year - 149000/- Fourth year- 151000/- - complete cost will be around 10-11 lac (including hostel fee and travel charges) - for wlst bengal students-there are multiple state government scholarship programs like SVMCM, OASIS scholarship Also available Central gov and other state government scholarships
Campus Life
- our college organises an annual hackathon, sports event, drama competition, art competition etc. - library has a vast collection of books from law to computer programming to medical sciences etc. - in extracurricular activities we have basket ball, table tennis, art, drama, literature, photography and much more. - clubs like litwits(literature club), asthetica(art club), hridmajhare(drama club), photography club etc.
Hostel Facilities
hostel is around 3km away from college, but location is good, bus stop is in 10 mins distance from hostel, fooding is not bad but it could get some improvement, heavy meals in the morning and at night and also tiffin in the evening is provided.
Admission
- applied through WBJEE councelling - application fee 500/- - must appear in WBJEE or JEE mains examination - for reserved candidates the course fee is around 36000/- for first sem and afterwards only 1000/- per semester - in WBJEE you will get total 4 hrs (2hr for maths paper and 2hr for physics and chemistry combined). First half will be maths, then you'll get 30 mins break and in second half there's phy & chem paper - Difficulty I'd say is kinda same or a bit higher than JEE mains - after counseling results you'll get only 3-4 days to go to the allocated college for physical varification, I think they could give a little bit more time, because my allocated college is very far from my home town and I can't immediately arrange the travel tickets all the time.
