I am good at coding and I am also interested in business system that's why I choose this department of btech . I was willing to take admission in computer science but in my counciling they gave me this subject.

I am in first year so till now I don't have any idea about the internship opportunities available but I have heard from my seniors that companies like tcs, wipro etc come to the college to provide internship opportunities

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know exactly of the tution fee increase policy and rate of such hikes. But the complete cost of education, including tution, service fees and conpulsary charges is around 6 lakhs 50 thousand for 4 years, if you are a wb domicile student then you can definitely apply for different scholarship

Campus Life

There are not many annual and tecnical festivals but in the same campus there is another college snu which helds many fests in the month of march ,April june , august and November. There are many sports and extracurricular activities such as volleyball kabbadi ,basketball and carrom

Admission

You can take admission from jee mains or wb jee and also by counciling . You can find the application form wb jee official website or from jee official website the date must be in March or April. You must have physics , chemistry and maths in your 12th examination

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
