placement opportunities at our colleage

Culuture and innovation at IITs motivated me to qulify JEE Advance.Tech-minded surronding inspires me to uplift my skills.Curriculum is designed to integrate theoretical and practical knowledge.They included communicatoin as a subject which is essential for all working profesional. In each semester ,we have mid and end sem examination along with practical exams.They are tough and challenging.Grading system is relative in nature. I think curriculum is best in its form.there should be improvement in application.

realince for graduate traniee.ONGC for geophysicist.HCL for technical leader.Sprinkler for implementation consultant.samsung for research and development engineer.TATA for post gradute engineer traniee.

After third semester students starts for appearing placement.Almost all big tech companies like google ,microsoft,realince, samsung and amazon visit our colleage.Core companies like ONGC and CAIRN also visit for hiring.There are 200+ companies made 920+ offer in previous year.Highest package above 80 LPA and average is above 17 lPA previous year.above 65% student get placement,I want to get job in core company for research and development.

Tution fees are high and poor stundents are bounded to take loan.But there are polices like fee wavier which reduces burden on them.There is 1 lakh rupees tution fees for each sem and nearly 50 K as other fees (eg hostel fees,mess fees, Gymkhana fees etc).There is MCM scholarship programe to help student financialy. our colleage has high placement ratio (above 65%).Still, I haven't taken any campus employment or stipends awards.

there are mainly four tech fest in our colleage.In october, we have Khanan ,one of the India's largest geo-mining fest .At end of october there is tech fest well known as Concetto and in begining of feb we celebrated cultural fest Srijan.In March,there is sport fest Prakram.We have one of the biggest tech library in India, which is full of reference and journals.There are more than one buildings , dedicated for innovation facillated with high tech eqiupments.Our colleage has highest number of sports coaches among all IITs.and Many clubs to encourage creativity and talent of students.They are highly active during fests and inter IIT competiton.

Hostels are affordable than PGs and have good facility of electricity, water and internet.Food quility and menu is also okay but needed to improve.Campus is clean and green.We don't need to put any extra efforts for registration as we have closed campus and complusary to live in hostel.

Admission process in our colleage[IIT(ISM) DHANBAD] is conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority[JOSAA] for B.tech degree. Candidate must need to secure AIR above 15000 (for gen) in JEE ADVANCED to get seat in IIT DHANBAD. Seat is alloted on basis of AIR and category Rank for each B Tech branch.Female candidate have reservation quota). Whole admission process took online.During conselling process,We have to select branch and IIT,NIT according to our preference.There are two mock rounds in which we can modify our preference list.There are six rounds in which authority will allot seat according to our rank.One can conform his seat in any round and thus get admission in IIT.While conformation,he need to pay counselling fees which later get added in tution fee.,After this,We just have to go for physical registartion while entering in campus. Admission process is very convient. In my opinion, there sholud be accessibility to modify preference list after each round.
