Remarks
The college management is fine. There is always room for improvement though.
Entrance Preview
One of the best colleges in the NCR region that provides well thought of curriculum, great faculty, and other various facilities like- library, gym, cafeteria, playground, auditorium, parking area, sports room last, etc. with a reasonable amount of fees when it comes to masters education that is AICTE approved.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is divided into 6 trimesters, completed 3 each year. In the first year, everybody gets to study the same subjects but in the second year, the students get the liberty to choose two specializations each and continue with their final year. The electives are- HR, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Marketing.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college does provide internships at the end of the first year for two months. Generally, the stipend is ranging between 5-10 thousand.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are average. Students get placed in between 3 to 5 lakh per annum. The companies are mostly for Marketing and sales personnel. For HR and Finance, there are rather quite fewer opportunities as compared to sales and marketing.
College Events
We do have debate competitions, extravaganza fests/ cultural festival ls, intra-college sports day, Hindi Divas essay writing competitions, slogan writing competitions, blogging competitions etc. Mostly these are intra college, but few, like- cultural festival and debating competitions involve participation from other colleges and universities as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is 5 lakh 90 thousand for Post Graduate Diploma in Management, payable in 3-4 easy installments. I would say it is quite reasonable as almost every facility is provided by the college. Students are encouraged to take an education loan if necessary.
Fees and Financial Aid
I, myself, have availed the facility of scholarship as well as that of education loan. My scholarship is on the basis of my graduation marks and my MAT score.
Campus Life
We have quite a good strength of girls in our classes. If you talk about diversity, there are students from various parts of India. We do have debate competitions, extravaganza fests, intra-college sports day, Hindi Divas essay writing competitions, etc.
Hostel Facilities
I am not a hostility so I have no clear idea about that. But I have friends living in the hostel. All I know about it is that it is outsourced. They have strict timings regarding both- mess food and hostel timings. The food is on par and the hostel also provides necessities needed.
Alumni/Alumna
Haven't interacted with any alumni so far, so doubtful about that. Can't say if they are helpful or not.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is usually the same for every trimester. We have 6 trimesters, three each year. Midterms are during the time when we are done with half of the trimesters, followed by final terms, towards the end of the trimesters. The ratio is 60:40. 60- internals and 40- finals.
Admission
1. Checking of previous marksheets- 10th, 12th and graduation for eligibility. 2. PI conducted. 3. Verification of the scores of the exam taken i.e. MAT. 4. Checking for the scope of scholarship. 5. Providing scholarship on the basis of graduation scores and MAT scores. 6. Providing documents for bank loan purpose. 7. Submission of fees on education loan approval.
Faculty
All the teachers are well qualified, mostly done with their doctorates from renowned institutes. We also get the opportunity to be taught by visiting faculties that are from the corporate world, again done with their PhDs, who share their real-life experiences with the students.
