- Soa has one of the best sports facilities all over odisha. Badminton, cricket and basketball everything is top notch here.
- All rooms have ac so it makes a really good facilities in high temperature climate
- Faculties are lenient and flexible.They listen to us and try to understand our problems.
Dislikes
- The students intake is really really high.
- Placements could have been better but due to high students intake there is really high competition.
- Campus could have a little more extra curricular facilities like a stage and some places to roam in free time.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum has a very wide range of facilities including faculty chambers and others ,this made me choose this course.The curriculum prepares for real world applications quite well like placements training.The college has alot to improve like hiring better faculties and try to have better placements in recent years.The frequency of exams is really high,students don't get enough time to prepare for exams due to really fast exam schedule.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities start from the 2nd year and students who are eligible could apply for internship. The companies for internship are average and the stipend is good to average range. Some big companies also come to iter for internship.
Placement Experience
Students get eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. Companies like tcs Accenture have visited soa. Highest package is 40 lakhs and average is 3.5lakhs and percentage of students getting placements is average.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no tuition fees increase policy yet so the regularity of such hikes are less.The complete cost of education is 11 lakhs.There are very less amount of scholarships available in soa.Campus employment is not really excercised here much.
Campus Life
There are very little fests in soa.They are rarely held and the range and accessibility of books is really good.The facilities and technological provisions could have been better . Sports and extracurricular activities is really good in soa and one of the best in odisha in recent times. There are really high amount student run social groups and clubs.
Admission
Eligibility of the course was from their own exam called saat. Students can find application through their soa University website. Exams frequency is really high and they are medium to high difficult.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is really high so it affects the learning experience. Some of the faculties are really good and they always approach to have better teaching methods etc.We can interact with our faculties anytime we want, College has provided them faculty chambers and we can visit anytime we want.

Silicon University is one of the top colleges in bhubaneswar but as a sports enthusiast soa(iter) has better sports opportunities than silicon. This is the reason that made me select soa over silicon University.
