The campus is actually pretty nice and the teachers from my department are actually nice like you can rely on them they are very friendly and would also provide assistance and at the same time they might be strict when needed

Course Curriculum Overview

I have room bcom Finance and i think my course is like a one of the most valuable bcom degrees in today's time and along with my Bcom program the finance subject starts from semester 2 and in finance as usual we learn the basic methods for raising and managing finance. This course is very good for a person who is opting to study for MBA in finance in P.G. The course is studied through books by KGC Nair and I think other books from other universities could have been took for reference . The exams are conducted on time and the exams in mar Ivanios college are conducted earlier than in Kerala University and the exams are conducted in a strict and perfect manner .

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees varies with course here for my course Bcom Finance the fees for a semester is actually 10000. That is actually pretty decent compared to other colleges providing the same course in Kerala . The semester fee only applies for self financing department if you the admission in aided there is no semester fees you only get to pay the exam fee that is around 1000 something.

Campus Life

The college provides various extra caricular activities here like club and other activities. They mainly promote students to other extra caricular activities other than studies . The college has cricket, football, basketball teams and intrested students can join through trails and other students who participates in individual events can also represent the college and enter into other events

Admission

The admission procedure here is purely based the marks in 12 board examinations the students should get a minimum of 96% or more to get in to college and the other option is through mangement seat . There is no entrance examination for Bcom Finance

i would rate it 3.5/5 it is relevent and covers most of the topic afterall add some more practical and real world could make it even better real world problems don't exist in silos coming subjects like data science or psychology with business prepare students for complex decision making

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in there 6th semester during 3rd year. The students has to score highest grades and should be capable of any skills and has to showed up in academic skills are eligible for getting placements. Sometimes the federal banks and other service centres approached the college for placing the students. The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000. After all, my plans are degree is to getting placed in any reputed companies and further more.

By completing the last semester students are eligible for campus placement. There is a very large number of companies recruited from the campus including IT companies like Infosys, Technocrat, etc. The average package is more than 15k.

Remarks:

The college is well known for inducing skills to students holistically. The facilities work very hard not just to complete the course but to make students fully aware about the subject matter. There is no political influence found in this college.

The best college in calicut city

Remarks:

Our college is the best but the college have not a college bus and a canteen. The students are come to the college with bikes and cars and private bus and students are eating food from out of the college campus and other hotels.

Good college.

I applied to Christ Nagar college, Maranalloor and i had gotten a confirmed admission there. I was there for 2 months until i got an admission here which is a far better college. The college i had applied to was more of a school than a college and it was just difficult being there as it felt like a jail. I did not get rejected by any college as i had not applied for more. The other colleges to which i applied are sacred heart college, ernakulam and christ college, thrissur.
