The semester in this college are usually short and fast paced which creates huge workload for students
The exams are conducted even if the portions are not completed

Fees and Financial Aid:

The tution fees collected by the management is 10000rs but only if it is paid on the due date. If not there is a caution fee of 500 and later 1000 rs to be paid. Admission fees is also another 10000rs if you are admitted through the management quota. If you got in on merit, there is no need to pay. Everyone in the class pays 10000rs for the tution fees.

Eventhough exams are held on time,it does not mean faculties complete the portions on time .Atleast one subject per semester will fall short during the exam time as they fail to complete the portions

Tution Fees are same for all students from my class (10,000 per sem ie,20,000 per year/60,000 for the 3 yr course) Admission fees might differ according to different student from various backgrounds Since Im in the management quota it costed me 2,20,000 ... Then came the tuition fees(60k for 3yrs) then the book fees etc For other students from my class ...some of them had to only pay the tution fees since some had reservation,some of them had merit seat etc

I am studying bcom finance and the sem fee is 15000 per sem, there is total 6 semesters So total 90000, my tution fee is per subject of 3000, a total of 6 subjects are there, so am studying in bcom self-financing thats why there is sem fee, students who studying in bcom aided have no fees

Initial we have to pay a donation of 5000 and sem fees of 10000 and if you are in hostel then hostels fees will be extra. But if you are in regular batch you don't even need to pay this much money as we pay in aided batch

The fees varies with course here for my course Bcom Finance the fees for a semester is actually 10000. That is actually pretty decent compared to other colleges providing the same course in Kerala . The semester fee only applies for self financing department if you the admission in aided there is no semester fees you only get to pay the exam fee that is around 1000 something.

Downfall of Mar Ivanios College

Fees and Financial Aid:

As I am currently pursuing B.com (Aided ), I only have to pay 1000 per year for the fees and without that there is exam registration before every semester exam and it cost around Rs. 550 approx. per semester. There are many scholarships like Central Sector Scholarship, Higher Education Scholarship, E-grantz etc. There many scholarships available for the students
