Course Curriculum Overview
As our college follow makaut board so there are various subjects thoughts which we think it is useless to study. Like English biology etc but it has also use in the field of engineering which the teachers make us understand what will be it used for There should be improvement in teaching style like instead of just teaching the theory also focus in making us practice of questions For theory paper There are 4 class test taken by college and 1end sem exam is taken For practical lab There is pc1 and pc2 of 40 marks given on basis attendance and 60marks exam is taken
Placement Experience
The campus placement are average one need to work very hard if you want placement. The companies for placement don't came to college we have to go to other college . Around 50-60 percent students are placed on campus for cse it and ECE branch. And other this branch one to go out campus placement
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure of different for different branch like for electronics and communication engineering department the fees is 120000 per year The fees is increased every year on the basis of west bengal government rule. There are various scholarships for students like svmc it give 60k every year to students whose annual income is less than 2.5lac
Campus Life
The experience is average of our nethier bad and neither too good. It always depends on individual what to explore in our college. There are frequent event going on our college About Libray there is always available books for accedmic course There are also events for sports. There is inter college sports also organised by college
Admission
Our college takes admission through wbjee ,jeemains etc Admission process is not that much hatic it is smooth but after admission there are various certificate and documents needed after admission. For admission in cse BRANCH one need to have 25-30k rank in wbjee 30k-45 for IT BRANCH AND FOR ECE DEPARTMENT 35-50K ADMISSION PROCESS IS VERY SMOOTH. BUT DURING ADMISSION THERE SHOULD BE ONLINE PAYMENT DONE FOR ADMISSION
Faculty
In our college most of the teachers have PhD qualifications from renowned college. The teachers are always keen to teach us more than a student our college want to study. They are also helpful and very supportive.our teacher use smartboard and mic for teaching some teachers also use chalk board to teach. But I prefer chalk and board to study.
