Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Management and Research Studies is known for its innovative teaching pedagogy as it helps students learn and grow into becoming better individuals, and when it comes to pursuing a professional course like PGDM, this is a boon.

The course curriculum is versatile and includes various subject topics that give you knowledge about the various industry specializations. Along with these subjects, the students also learn SAS, a programming language, which helps analyze big data. The institution also encourages students to appear for the SAS Global Certification exams and also provide training for the same. In today age where big data analytics is required in almost every sector of the industry, this helps the students develop multiple skills and stand out from the crowd.

Yes, my college does provide us with internships. The companies that come in for the internship placements are well reputed and have a general stipend of Rs.5000/-

The placement at VESIM is managing by the Career Guidance and Placement Cell. Companies like General Mills, Bajaj, Big Basket and so on are some of the names where VESIM's students have been placed. Along with all these, the students are also given exposure to various SMEs and are trained for the same.

The institution gives importance to holistic learning and hence multiple events take place in the college. VESIM hosts some of the major events like Literati Festival- which is a literature festival, BASIC'19- which is more of a tech fest and concentrates majorly on data analytics, etc. Along with these events, VESIM also hosts many other events and competitions which are organized by the various cells at the college. Students and encouraged to participate in such events.

The fee structure at VESIM is feasible as compared to many other colleges in the city and the fee installments are divided into manageable amounts. The college also aids loan facilities to students from banks and is not rigid towards timely payment of fees.

The institution has multiple scholarships to offer to it's underprivileged or top-ranking students.

As I mentioned earlier, there are multiple events and competitions that take place at VESIM. The various cells in the college undertake debate competitions, management quizzes, hackathon- a coding contest, Utsaha- which is an intercollegiate sports competition in which multiple teams took part in and so on.

The hostel is located right inside the campus and is equipped with hygienic mess facility. The hostel charges are pretty feasible and the rooms are spacious, well ventilated and well maintained. The hostel is equipped with all the basic needs that a student will require.

There is an Alumni Cell at VESIM wherein alumni help students understand and gain knowledge about the corporate through leadership talks, guest lectures and other informal gatherings.

VESIM follows a Training examination pattern wherein the students have to appear for three Trimesters each year (for PGDM). This pattern helps students to cover up and learn multiple topics acquire a lot of knowledge about the functioning of the industry.

I got admission into Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Management and Research Studies as my CET marks fulfilled their eligibility criteria. This was the first stage of the admission procedure. This was followed by two other stages, the Group discussion round and the Personal Interview round. The results were declared a week later.

The faculty at VESIM is highly qualified, experienced and is extremely helpful. Apart from academic sessions, they help students understand the importance of holistic learning and involve themselves in various student event activities. They provide immense guidance to students with respect to industry insights.
