Course Curriculum Overview

4

The thing is I came from commerce background so, I don't have many options because I am a non maths student. There was no other choice for me to choose this course. If I talk about my course, the course is very nice and easy. This will help out the people who want to go for finance field in their career. But there are certain loop holes which needs to be overcome. There are many things in the syllabus which will not help you out in the real world situations. These needs to be improve. But apart from this, this course also helps in getting good salary package in future. Further, this course is that easy that will provide you a enough time to prepare for other professional courses and career development activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

If I talk about my course fee structure, the fees is not that expensive. If you are from general category, then the fee will lie around 15-16k per annum. Also after that you can apply for financial aid or scholarship after getting admission. And also the college provide book aid facility to the students who came from poor financial background. Apart from tution fee, the university charges some amount of registration for the examination which is quite expensive. You have to pay some like around 1400-1500 per semester for the examination. The placement and employment opportunities are really good, the placement cell of the college is very nice. They call very big and reputation companies for the campus placement. The stipend of one month will help you to cover the cost of one year amount if you are that effective and efficient.

Campus Life

2

If I talk about my campus life till now, it was kind of average or below average. As the students you will find are such selfish and very clever. No one will help you when you are facing some issues of something instead they will make fun of it. The annual fest of the college which is TIDE was kind of average festival. The management and all is not that efficient. If talk about my club involvement, there's one thing to say that If you have focused only on your study in your previous academic life and not involved in extra curriculums then there is no place for you. That's it.

Admission

The eligibility criteria is very simple. You can apply for only that courses of the subjects which you have studied in your senior secondary. After completing your class 12th you have to appear for the exam of CUET(Common University Entrance Test) which is conducted by NTA. You can apply from the website cuet.samarth.ac.in. Once your CUET is done then you have to wait for the CSAS portal of the university, which will generally open after your CUET exam. Talking about application fee which will differ for different courses, mine was cost around 2k till the admission. The difficulty level is not that high, If you have studied well in your previous academic classes then you can score good very easily. The areas for improvements can be: improvement in technology because many students faces difficult situations in giving exams. Also the technical issues gives more to less deserving candidate and vice versa.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college, if I am talking about my commerce Department only, the faculty is highly qualified and such a nice. They teach like one of the friend is telling you. They are very cool and treat the students like their friends and they interact when need them anytime. The teaching is style is also very good and the best thing is that they cooperate with everyone. For example : if there is no other class at a specific time, then they take other class at that time to let the students free early. In faculty, the college is the best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
