VNIT boon & curse

I took this course because it was the best I could take in josaa counciling.the curriculum is quite outdated.in microcontroller subjects it uses 8085 which is no longer used.many other such out dated topics are included.the labs are also teaching the same.the exams schedule is very packed.earlier we used to have 2 papers on the same day during midsem exam.with no gaps in between.it changed this year.we have 1 paper each day but papers are on Saturday Sunday too.but end sem exam remains the same.1 paper each day no gaps no prepration leave

Many companies visit in campus for internship .but getting internship is hard.you have to be top of the class great cgpa and 0 backlog just to be eligible for internships .internships are paid the payment ranges from 1.5 to 4 lakhs for 3 months of intership .goldmen nvedia Citi Bank reliance and many companies visit college for internship opportunities

90 percent students get placed.many companies visit campus for placement. interviews are taken in campus and most of the students get placed too.the students which don't apply for placement are mostly because they want to study further like mba of mtech.highest salary offer for my department student may reach 25 lakhs.from 7th sem you are applicable for placement.i plan to give CAT after college

Tution fee is 70k to 80 k depending on course and department of btech.reservation have different fee structure and some structure for scholarship is also available.the complete fee may be around 5 to 6 lacs.hostel fee is around 40 thousand for each semester.stipends are for mtech and PhD students and in campus internships are rare

Aarohi is the annual cultural fest of 3 days and axis is the technical fest.aarohi have mostly cultural events and some concerts and standup events.axis is tech fest which has many technical events like robo fight.but IG and DG are the most fun events.DG is held by the department you study in.it is for 2 to3 days .which includes prom and other couples stuff.IG is basically chichhore movie.but it is department vs department it is of 10 days and most fun of all.it has sports cultural and any and everything you can think about.more than 100 events in 10 days.the winner department gets the bragging rights for a complete year.this event can not be explained in words.it's experience of life time (electrical won this year... bragging i know).there are smart classroom.. every class is a smart classroom in classroom complex.clasroom complex is a building of 7 floors which only have classrooms.there are many clubs.2 to 4 clubs are for dance alone.music art photography.there is no scarcity

Hostels are okay.HB2 is the best.10 floors and the best view.lifts are available and good.security is available 24*7.hostels are cleaned daily.As clean as you can expect.8 hostels for boys and 2 for girls.mess food is bad.downright bad.4 time meal.you can not opt out of mess fee.the mess fee and hostel fee is included in 1 bill.you have to pay it.it's 40 around thousand each semester

Eligibility is based on the AIR of JEE exam and it varies every year..95 to 99 percentile will get you in this college .the admission process was completely online due to covid but now it is in campus if reservation is applicable then 85+percentile will get you a seat but during admission process there is no proper arrangement for parents to stay in campus while the process is ongoing

Faculties are highly qualified.Some are friendly and easy to approach while some are not.The teaching techniques of some of the professors is just to read the presentation from which they teach.and lastly you have to learn everything by yourself.the faculty mentor program makes it quite easy to approach your faculty advisor
