My college

I got metallurgical and materials department because of my ranking in jee . But during studying I came to realise that it is much more what we are thinking about meta. There is a lot of opportunities here. We are learning all the things during classes according to the real world. If field visit will be there then the course will be more interesting. We have one mid semester exam and one end semester exam , in between the course duration teachers take assessment exam, viva and presentations.

The internship in Iisc or IITs are easily available. Lots of non core and core companies come for internship but most of them have cgpa eligibility criteria. Research opportunities are there for fire peoples.

The placements starts from the start of 7th sem and most of the people get placed in this sem only . Jindal steels placed 23 students and Vedanta also come for metallurgy core. The students who are interested in placements got placed and some are going for higher education or competition exams almost 92% got placed.

Tution fees is higher side , people came here after clearing jee and we are in a national college , so fees should be affordable. Around 6 lakh for course studies and hostel fees and separate Students can get refund if there family income is low , they have to fill a form only to get refund . Companies like Goldman Sachs also come for campus placement which provides huge stipend. But most of the people's are doing unpaid internship.

We have Aarohi cultural fest. Axis technical fest, karwaan literature fest, consortium frst of entrepreneurship club .We have something going on in our college every weekend, instead of exams We have a huge library, got all the books related to academics there, but there are not sufficient fictional or self growth books Classroom have air conditioner, mic system , smart displays , furnished chairs . Prayaas which is a social club changed my perspective towards kindness.

We are given one bed , two cupboards , a chair , a table have beautiful windows , one large white light and two small yellow lights Meals are really good from mess food point of view , got icecream, sweets all other stuffs in the mess intself . Just fill a Google form and fees from official website of college . Locality is too expensive , even the street food is bit expensive as compared to the other parts of the city because of expensive locality.

People should clear jee mains . The admission is through jossa councelling and admission fees we have to pay on the official website of our college Reservation are there, for people from scheycaste and schedule tribes fees is just 5000 per semester, and they get the college at low rank Timings of exams are good we got 2 months summer and 1 month winter holidays. After getting the college from jossa , there should be someone from the college itself to guide admission process.

The faculty to student ratio is really good in my department. Even sometimes I feel faculties are more . All of our faculties are PHDs and have work experience from the industries so they provide us the on ground knowledge. Faculties are always ready to interact with us , even they try to connect more and more students. Some of the faculties gave us parties also.
