Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed Electrical and Electronics and my domain as this field excites me in terms of its wide applications in Robotics and automation. Course curriculum is relevant to the real world problems. Teaching methods can be improved a bit by introducing the link with latest technologies.
Internships Opportunities
You are eligible to apply for internships post 4th semester. But the internship opportunity is limited for other branches than CSE. Roughly 10 out of 125 students are selected for internships in case of EEE.
Placement Experience
Nearly 80-90% students grt placed with average package of 9-10 LPA. Students are eligible for placements post 6th semester. Students are eligible for internships post 4th sem which further can be converted to a PPO
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee is almost fixed through the B-Tech with fees of around 68000 per semester. Fee remission is available for the candidates whose annual income is less than 5 Lakhs. Campus placement are average with about 80-90% placements rate.
Campus Life
Campus environment is great with a chilling vibe. There are various clubs in the domain of cultural, technical, sports and charity. Classrooms are well equipped with smart boards, projectors and air conditioners.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is excellent. Best thing is one can have a special room post 2nd year. Rooms are spacious with clean common washrooms. Mess food quality is below average and can be improved compared to other NITs.
Admission
For the case of BTech in Electrical and Electronics branch you must have an AIR of below 16k in JEE mains (for General Category) it varies for different categories. Admission process is conducted through JOSAA counseling.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is about 1:60, a section of roughly 120 students is divided into 2 with a faculty for each section. All the faculties are well qualified. Interaction with teachers is easy but again it depends in case of every faculty.
