Course Curriculum Overview
My course is bsc nautical science when I complete this 3 year course I am eligible to go onboard ship for 12 months training on ship.this influence me to choose this course as it has both practical and theory knowledge. The curriculum prepares you for becoming officer on ship in deck department where the uppermost is captain. I thing teaching methods is good here but need to add more practical classes The exams are not that difficult if you study well you will come out with flying colours
Fees and Financial Aid
The complete cost of 3 year course is 825000rs including tuition fee, mess, hostel, laundry all The scholarship is given to only sc and st students something about 70 thousands No such thing of job roles and the stipend awarded in atleast till now
Campus Life
The one thing I don't like about the college is that there is no any fests. Only one fest is held in the month of february in one whole year. The library is open for books and journal in daytime you can sit there and read. The classroom have one digital board and speaker for better learning Extracurricular activities held in a period of time you can participate in that and excell in that
Admission
Eligibility of the course is that you have 60% in your 12th pcm and in English then you are eligible for giving imucet exam which held in June The application fee vary for general and obc it is 1000 and for sc and st it is 500 The timing of exam is 3 hour in which 200 question will be asked from Physics chemistry maths english and general aptitude. The exam is of moderate level if you are an average student you can easily get a good rank The admission process is smooth
Faculty
The faculties and captains that teach here are qualified and experienced. They all are excelled in his/her field you don't have to study extra when you pay attention in classes. The student and faculties ratio are very good no classes gone free. All faculties take their classes on time. Faculties also uses digital way of teaching like using digital board, computer, animation. Practical subjects are done after completing the theory portion
