Likes

Campus is good and not too big. It is peaceful to walk around the campus.
Girls hostel in time is not too early but not too late
Sports complex is amazing and very close to girls hostel so convenient

Dislikes

Average cgpa of every branch is different so it affects the placement of the lower average branch.
Lot of couples sir together our of the girls hostel just before in time .
Girls hostel premise is small and canteens inside the girls hostel is not good also it is available for a short period of time.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses taught are very helpful for further studies as it helps us in gate exams. Classes frequency is correct, not too less and not too much . But sometimes the professors are on leave because of which 1 week before endsems too many extra classes take place.

Class Size: 94Course Fees: INR 133600 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I honestly don't have much idea about the scholarships as I am from general category so there are no scholarships for me. General category tuition fees is around sixty thousand while for some categories it is less than 4 thousand. Some people also get fee remission.

Campus Life

Social activities and events take place a lot in this college. Sports complex is always open for students but some better equipments should be provided to the students. Most of the events happen in the even semester. Clubs are more technical and art related, there should be a sports club too.

Admission

Admission process was through Joint Entrance Examination. After Qualifying the entrance exam in counselling we had to put the college and branch preference and get the admission in the preferred college according to the entrance exam percentile.

Faculty

Faculties are very smart and studies from iits and nits. Some professors does not give expected grade for the marks we get. Young professors are more strict than the older ones. Difficult subjects are also given absolute grading which reduces the overall cgpa of the whole class. Some professors are talented and because of them we get interested in the subjects too.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

College review for better selection for better opportunities in future

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities. Exposure to national level competitions along with the motivation to attempt them.Practical knowledge is also provided with the theoretical knowledge

My Experience at VNIT Nagpur

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT. The addmission process to get in at VNIT Nagpur is very simple you just have to go through JEE mains Exam and have to secuse atleast 96 percentile if you are an general candidate. I wanted to do Mechanical engineering.I have applied to top NIT's like Trichy ,warangal,rourkel and VNIT. I finally got vnit mechanical in the 3rd round of JOSAA councilling.
