Remarks

College management is a bit slow and college is really strict about the rules of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

In our college mainly students are placed more in the IT Companies than the core companies. So I feel that the course curriculum is irrelevant because it doesn’t matter in which branch you are studying. Time table of the college is really hectic because we have 2 LAB subjects each semester.

Placement Experience

4

Placements of our college are pretty good as compared to the other colleges in the Nagpur and we have an option to go for an internship in the last semester of the engineering.

College Events

2

In our college, PRATISHRUTI is the annual festival of our college and it is organized by the SRC(STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL) of the college and also each department separately conducts their events in the college. NEEV is one of the biggest civil engineering fests in central India.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of the college curriculum were RS124280 when I got admission in the college(2015) but it increases by 10% every year and we have the uniform in the first year. College also provides accommodations for the students from the different cities. Hostel charges are 80000 per person including mess.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have UCO bank in our college providing education load for the students and also EBC scholarships are awarded to the students who perform extremely well in respective departments.

Campus Life

3

Campus life of our college is not as good as other colleges in the area. Our college supports and encourages students to participate in different activities held at the intercollege and state level. We have different clubs in our college like robotics club, rotary club, REEF, and rotract club.

Alumni/Alumna

College arrange alumni meet every year so that students can interact with the alumni of the college and alumni can share their experiences with the students. Senior students are very helpful in case of studies and extra curriculum.

Admission

I got admission in this college by the management round conducted by the college itself. Ramdeobaba college of engineering has a good reputation as a private institution so I chose this college over any other college. There are 3 rounds conducted by the college for the admissions and admission is given on the merit basis.

Faculty

4

Our college only hires the graduates from the IITs or NITs as the faculty and our professors should be pursuing or have completed their M.Tech from the renowned colleges of India. Most of the faculties are very good at our college and they pay attention towards the student very seriously.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
