College management is not good here, Yoy have to struggle too much to get fund for any event.

Course Curriculum of each and every branch here is designed as per industries requirement. In addition to technical knowledge students are also gain soft skills. It is regulated every 2 years to keep it updated. Exam Structure is also fair. There are two minors (20 Marks each) and one major (50 marks) in each semester.

Placement record here is pretty good. The students placed of each branch of the previous year are as Computer Science - 82/85 Electronics and Communications - 65/80 Civil- 44/75 Mechanical- 69/84 Industrial and Production - 44/60 Chemical- 45/68 Biotech- 16/28 Textile-46/53 IT -25/27

1.Utkansh - It is a cultural fest of our college held during April-may.It is three days fest during which a lot of big events like fashion show, dance competitions, star night, singing performances, guest lectures are organized and a lot of fun events are also there. 2. Techniti - It is a technical fest of our college held during October-November.It is also a three days event during which a lot of big events ( fashion show, star night, dance performances, singing performances) and competitions ( robowar is main ) organized by each branch are there having big prize money. Some big conferences are also organized during the fest.

There is a separate department ( Scholarship Department)for scholarship purposes of students. Whenever new scholarship release it is posted on the college website. Students have to apply online or offline as per requirements and submit hard copy in the department for verification.

Campus life at nit Jalandhar is nice to want to get back to my college life a big campus is like a new city all basic facilities are available in the campus. Gender ratio- 1 girl for 3 boys labs- 8/10, The labs are in good condition. Almost every instrument is available in the lab. But some are not in good working condition. sports- 7/10, One big ground, Basketball court, 1 Gymnasium, 1 Baseball court competitions- 9/10

There are many seniors in my contacts alumni are also very supportive and I also had a good time with seniors and ragging is completely banned in nit Jalandhar. A lot of alumni meets are arranged by faculty to give students the right path and get something from their experience.

To get the admission in this college I gave JEE Main exam after 10+2 in April 2016. I got 135 marks in JEE Mains and my AIR was 20,432 (60% JEE marks + 40% Board marks are used to give AIR) but nowadays only JEE marks are important to get a good rank. Then during counseling, I name this college as my preference in different branches. Then there are 5-6 rounds and one spot round. I got civil in this college.
