Indian maritime University offers different types of courses which are unique and professional courses. The courses IMU offers are as follows BTech marine engineering, BTech naval architecture, and ocean engineering, B.Sc nautical science, B.Sc maritime science B.Sc shipbuilding and repairs. And it also offers post graduation courses in shipping.

Placements of Indian Maritime University is quite good as 80% of students get placed in different shipping companies and shipyards.our college also provides us for some internships in different parts of India.

Fees structure for different courses is as follows BTech marine engineering -2.25 lakh, BTech naval architecture, and ocean engineering -2.25 lakh, B.Sc nautical science-2.25 lakh, B.Sc maritime science -2.25 lakh, B.Sc shipbuilding, and repair-2 lakh.

No, I have not opted for any scholarship and education loans. As in Indian maritime University of we study well they will give us merit-based rewards for the toppers of the university every semester. Cash prizes are given.

Here the campus life is awesome and the gender ratio is low as in marine sector very girls join in this institute so maximum if the students are boys and here the girl's ratio is very low in Indian Maritime University and we also have different labs library and sports fields for playing the different type of sports.

Hostel, food, and accommodation fees are all included in the fees itself as our course is residential courses so all the hostel food accommodation is included in the fee itself I think they charge around 65000 to 70000 for accommodation and food per year.

Our seniors very much helpful during the time of placements as they help us during the time of placements.

At first, we have to qualify the Indian maritime University common entrance test and after that, we have to apply for counseling and by our ranks, a respective imu campus will be given to us to join must is conducted on 1st week of June every year and classes starts from 1st August.

Here the faculty members are quite good and they are highly qualified and skilled and experienced.they also try to teach us in a unique way so that the students understand well. If we have any doubts regarding the subject they easily solve our doubts. They are very kind to us.
