IGIMS Review

No, till now there's no any bad remark about the administration. The administration is complete students friendly and cooperative.

Here u have to study to pass the exam no mercy or any grant will be entertained.IGIMS is famous for its strictness in academics. Here You will NOT get any Leisure classes in the whole of your MBBS. Sessions are never late and U will get ur result within a week of ur Exam like (semester and universities).

In MBBS there's no question of placement but for your internship, IGIMS is one of the best place to avail. It is a super specialty tertiary care institute of Bihar.

Being an IGIMSONIAN We have a lot to entertain. Many cultural activities are organized throughout the year... Some of them are. 1. Saraswati Puja 2. CEREBREXIA 3. CONVOCATION 4. FRESHERS PARTY 5. TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION 6. CME and other WORKSHOPS are also organized throughout the year 7. I.F.D (Institute foundation day). 8. SPORTS

During admission, you have to pay 80k. Out of which 10k is refundable. From the second year onwards your per semester fee will be 20k which is much lower than Government colleges of Maharashtra IGIMS being the Autonomous institute it has triple benefit of own management central funding and a state grant. In an internship here, you will get 23.5k per month.

No college itself has no loan and scholarship but state government will provide you that facility so apply there for a loan.

Here it beats nearly all colleges, even some of the mighty ones in our state n in the country too. The buildings on the campus are really well maintained. And the campus is huge, green and beautiful. I suppose the most important part of our education as doctors is not the lectures, but the exposure you get while visiting wards, OPD, and the OT. Being the topmost referral center in the chain of hierarchy as far as the state is concerned, this gets a huge patient load, a multitude of cases and a great diversity of complication.

Hostel fee here is 12k per annum. It is an exceptional case of - "Don't judge a book by its cover". When you first arrive you see a massive yellow color building of 4 floors and thus naively believe that it would be as good. Your belief is further strengthened when you see manicured finishing and a nicely laid out facilities n arrangement.

Its one of the most important factor in selecting a college and IGIMS will not disappoint you. Seniors are great here and quite helpful. No ragging culture ( ok.. a little bit)is present. You will get lots of opportunities for personality development. Life is a bit hectic here than other colleges but that's for better in long run. All the people are quite friendly and you will make many friends for life here….

After NEET u will get two option first through all India quota or through Bihar quota if you are a native of Bihar. There is no other quota here either the central nominee or anything else...so don't deluse yourself about the admission process the only option is to crack neet n join.
