- The overall environment of the college is pretty good and the attendance is also very lenient making it helpful for students to work on their passion side by side. The DU society culture is also good comparatively.
Dislikes
- ACs in the classroom doesn't work sometimes making it difficult to concentrate in the class at the same time
Course Curriculum Overview
Choosing bcom in KMC is a great experience because it helps to understand what commerce is all about and helps in dealing with the subjects related like accountancy, marketing, economics etc. Though the course curriculum can be improved by giving more real life projects and not just monotonous writing assignments.
Internships Opportunities
The college brings in internship opportunities throughout the year in every domain with differences in stipend. Depends upon the students that they want to do paid or unpaid internsips. Companies ranging from MNCs to startups come in our college for better prospective of the students. You can also get a PPO from the company that you've interned at if the performance is good
Placement Experience
The placements in KMC are pretty good. You get a wide number of opportunities and you can choose accordingly. People interested in Finance get great opportunities with wide options according to me, but marketing is something that the placement cells needs to focus on more and bring in opportunities related to it.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee at KMC is comparatively very low and you can afford the year's fee very easily. Though if you want financial assistance, you can avail it very easily by just simple form filling procedure. Also. the employment opportunities in KMC is decent and extremely good for people in finance. But for marketing, the opportunities aren't good enough because of the low variety.
Campus Life
The overall vibe of campus is great. Being in north campus feels like you are living in a culture where nobody judges you and you can live according to your preferences. Societies of KMC play a vital role in shaping the college rating as there are large number of socities from comsoc to dance.
Admission
The admission process was completely based on the percentage that we got in our 12th class. All the process was through their website only and was quite hassle free. Talking about the exams, some exams in some semesters related to Accountancy were extremely difficult which led to the backlog of some children. Rest everything is pretty good
Faculty
The faculty members of our college are friendly enough to vibe with students. The faculty-to-student ratio is comparatively low but it doesn't feel like because teachers are always available to help the students out.
