Mesmerizing Somaiya

Choosing BBA HONS wasn't difficult for me . Somaiya University's learning skills were already famous and it helped me choose my course. BBA HONS at Somaiya was an awesome experience. The course content was very much interesting and practical at most of the events. We were asked to do an internship ( compulsory part of the course ) , this gives me an upper hand over the other candidates in the industry. The college examinations were so apt and majorly based on practicality instead of the regular monotonous theoretical approach.

The fee structure was quite reasonable as per the services provided. I paid ?1.5 lacs per year. A total of ?4.5 lacs for the course. The fees remained the same for our batch, something very positive about the college. There are various scholarship opportunities available. Some of them are need based and some on the basis of merit. The placement cell is growing itself and making some presence in the real world.

The infrastructure is very impressive. There are two libraries available in each building. An open library, and a close air-conditioned library. Also when it comes to social events, no one can beat Somaiya University. We have different events going on throughout the year. There is no month without an event. Such events ultimately give a lot of exposure to students. We have the annual day called the " Umang ". It is very entertaining and very fun.

The whole admission process is done online. You need to have the basic computer knowledge to get done with the process. We didn't have any entrance exams but as per the new government laws , there is an entrance exam now. The admission process is overall very smooth as along with the forms we have to submit some supporting documents. Also post selection, physical verification of documents is done. They follow a timeline, and the best part is they are true to their words and release admission results on time .

Here at Somaiya University, we have some great faculties. They have always been helpful to us , kind to us and definitely very much supportive. They used some great techniques to make the learning easy and simple to interpret. The faculties were all very experienced in their job and their class management skills were the cherry on the top . They always made sure that we students are in complete sync with the learning.Almost of them were top management school graduates giving us an upper hand ultimately.
