Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum in the college is like most other Goverment colleges, its a bit outdated but the good part is the currcuilum is constantly being updated and at the end of the semester the proffesors take feedback from the students to upadte the curriculum

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Some of the companies are -> Amazon, Jp morgan, pwc, deutsche bank, goldman sachs, google, wells fargo, etc they give a stipend of around 40k-80k per month during interships. Projects on cloud computing, data management, MERN stack development, Payment gateway engines etc are given as tasks

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 5th Sem there are Intership opportunities provided. Most of the big MNCs visit the college and IT companies prove over 10lpa packages. The highest package is around 50lpa within India and avaerage package for our department would be around 20lpa. Almost all students get placed. After getting degree I am getting a job

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first two years the fee is taken during admission. For the next two years i.e. 5th to 8th semester you have to pay the fees which is around 6k for the remaining 4 semesters. There are plenty of scholarships available for students who are not able to pay the fees. The college even promotes other scholarships to aid the students

Campus Life

3

There are many fests which are held during the months of march and April. The signifacnt ones being Sanskriti held during last week of march and Srijan during 2nd week of march. The library are well equipped with all books required for the subject. The classrooms have projectors whiteboards and some classrooms are even equipped with ACs. There are also maany sports competitions held throughout the year like Uturn and Arena. There are several clubs which provide ample opportunity to explore your hobbies

Admission

The cutoff for CSE for a general candidate was up to 257 in the decentralized counselling round. There are 2 rounds then a mop-up round then a decentralized counselling round. All form fill-ups are done online then there is physical verification if you accept your seat. The timing of WBJEE is perfect and it is harder than JEE Mains but way easier than JEE Advanced. The admission process could have been more online

Faculty

3

All of the faculties are very qualified, some even among the top researchers in the country. The proffesors for the most part are very helpful and easy to approach if you want to do reasearch under them. They do not put unecesaary academic pressure upon the students

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
