Overall good college with a beautiful campus in the heart of Bangalore.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is updated and according to the latest industry standards. More questions in the exam are application level so we cannot just mug up a subject. As a part, of course, we have several projects which are mainly research driven. The internship is mandatory and it carries 6 credits.

Placement Experience

Placements are comparatively better with pretty good salary package. Very few companies will come for taking interns

College Events

Ethnic day, cultural events, National level management fest, sports events, freshers day etc. Each of this event is conducted by students with the help of management. These events will help to showcase the talent of students. This also helps to get to know each other.

Fee Structure And Facilities

RS.7.5 lakhs for two years. For our juniors, it is Rs. 8 lakhs for two years. Hostel fees range from 60000 to 9000 (depends on sharing)including two meals(breakfast and dinner). Other expenses vary from person to person(Mg road in Bangalore is quite expensive!!).

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit scholarship is available for top 10 students. If you are in the top 25 and you are Christian you can apply for a scholarship for Christian students. Fee concession is also available for those who are not financially sound.

Campus Life

Campus life is great since our campus is in heart of Bangalore. Diversity is there but the majority are south Indians only a few north Indians and students from other parts of India. The college has collaboration with some universities in Germany and US so international students used to visit our campus for some programs.

Alumni/Alumna

College is conducting alumni meet every year and this network helps the college to get more placements. We have an alumni association which is active and they used to participate in our CSR events.

Admission

We can apply online through college website and shortlisted candidates will get a call for the interview. The first process was an essay writing followed by face to face interview. Those who got selected in that will get a call for an interview with Dean and director.

Faculty

The faculty is best with a lot of work experience and practical knowledge. We have very good faculty in each domain who are well versed in their subjects.W e also have external faculties who are working in reputed companies. The external faculties are more practical which will help us to understand the real world.

Nice MBA experience with an aesthetic campus and good placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

As iibs is providing good college placements with average package of 9.45 lakhs and highest package of 48 lakhs So don't need of focusing outside the college for placement I think iibs is provided better placement opportunities

Bridging the gap

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because to get good knowledge like finance and accounts marketing and sales in two years of my masters . The circulum was well prepared me in completing two years of my graduation by studing in my academic subject. There should be some changes need to be made by improving the course circulum and teaching methods like time table of exams class room time table College timings etc Yes the timimg of exams were not so easy it was very hard for me to go to college it was so far to go from home but the college has no buses facility and i have already try to reach so early.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

Life at SJIM

SJIM accepts CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and GMAT, with 60 percentile or above. The eligibility criteria is to have bachelors degree from recognized university with more than 60% marks in 10th,12th and UG. Applicants with more than two arrears are not considered. Following my MAT and CMAT exams, I applied for PGDM in St.Joseph's through the online application form that was available in official website (sjim.edu.in), the application fees is Rs.1000/-. After applying, I received mail confirmation on the same and the date of face-to-face interview was sent through mail. On the day of interview, there were two rounds.
