Classes are taken according to the curriculum itself so that it is going from time to time, accordingly so that PPTs are shared every day so that we can study the portion taken on that day itself, it is very helpful

Internships Opportunities

For the internship, we can choose either Yenepoya Hospital or the affiliated hospital that we have chosen, it's good that our college provides a good opportunity that they provide internship program in Yenepoya Medical College itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees structure for one semester is 60,000 and hostel fees are 85,000 and Scholarships according to students above 90% in class 12 and scoring 90% above attendance in every subject, the college provides loans for students who face financial issues.

Campus Life

The overall experience with campus life is quite good, the environment of my college makes me peaceful and happy it's full of greenery, and there is no stress to studying in Yenepoya, the infrastructure of the college is very good.

Hostel Facilities

There are different colleges for different courses , all of the hostels are good and the only issue faced by students is the food , but some hostel provide good food while other some hostels provide bad food

Hostel Fee: INR 85000 per year

Admission

The admission process was done from the yendurance area, it's an easy procedure, once we select the course and hostel we can pay fees and we will get billed, the processs that I didn't like was if we wanted to drop out off college we wouldn't be getting the fees that we have given

Faculty

-facilities are the best of yenepoya -But some of the teachers are not well experienced -they are just graduates -We need experienced teachers -Faculties will ppt on everyday that is a good for us -they are very friendly

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Why you should join SST

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it was very curriculum heavy meaning the cirriculum was very good . the girls to boys ratio here is 1 : 8 . but this year only 200 peopel were selected out of 200. they are industry tech experts. they are passable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
