Fee structure needs to be improved and there is a requirement for better hostels and rules. Evaluation and behavior of faculty have to be impartial towards North Indians and Localities. Curriculum needs to be updated.

My course is B.TECH CSE its curriculum covers all the topics required to cover by a Computer Science Engineer And also for further higher exams like GATE GRE CATE etc. Although some topics are outdated and require updating and the university is working on that. We currently have 2018 regulation in which we are supposed to appear for 2 CT ’s, 1 Model exam, 1 model practical and finally the university practical and exam only if you have an attendance above 75% in that particular subject.

My college doesn’t provide internship to each and every student but shares all the possible internship related information where we have to apply. Some of the internships get us paid and some pay us according to our experience and interest. We have to complete three internships compulsorily in our overall course being a current student I have just heard by my seniors how are the job and placement opportunities. Some tell great experience whereas some are disappointed as some companies allow to seat in placements with a GPA of 8 only. All the branches are given equal opportunities to get placed and most of them are placed in IT sectors

A lot of events are held in SRM being technical or non-technical. Roadshows for the entertainment and refreshment are also held. We have technical and non-technical clubs and groups to join. The two main events of my college are AARUSH and MILAN. These are held in each odd and even semester respectively. In these events, famous celebrities, artists, influencers, great speakers are invited in the 4-5 days of this event.

Fee Structure is a bit expensive as it is a private college. The tuition fee is charged according to your rank in the entrance exam and branch.

Yes, Our college provides scholarship and loan facility. The scholarship is provided on the basis of the rank scored in the entrance cam SRMJEE and also according to our GPA. Education Loan is provided for all the semesters by all the major banks.

Our college also encourages co-curricular activities being dance sports music or any other hobbies. We have different sports teams which are trained and participate in various competitions on district or state level. SRM has well-designed labs for all the courses for experimenting as well as for research.

Yes, seniors of our college are very helpful academically or in other events. Ragging and bullying are strictly prohibited in college. Alumni network provides an approach to various companies to get in touch, learn and gain experience in various departments.

I had filled the form for SRM’s Entrance Exam SRMJEE and cleared that exam with a good Rank. I got a rank letter an opportunity to join the Counselling where I got my desired branch CSE then itself I had to pay my Tuition fee and other details after few months I had my course enrollment where I finally joined the college and I got my ID CARD.

Faculty of my department is overall good. Some are really so good, supportive, encouraging and knowledgable and though some are strict and freshers. We have faculty selection in each semester where we can choose whichever faculty we want and sometimes we don’t get also due to heavy rush for the same faculty.
