Good and Bad things About My College - NIT JALANDHAR

The hand-on - approach embedded within the curriculam was a significant factor in my decision to choose this course at NIT jalandhar . Practicle components like projects and Internships ensure relevance to ral-world scenarious.

Internships opportunities at NITJ is in good condition. Companies- 1. INFOSYS 2.TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES(TCS) 3.MAHINDRA(Every year they came and select students approx 40) 4.AMAZON and many other companies provide many opportunities.

Placement at NITJ is quite good. CSE , IT and ECE brances got moslty high packages. Rest brances do well and overall sncerio is too good. If anyone do not get on-capus placement then he/she can go for off-campus placement also. Campnies- microsoft, google, reliance , hero , asho-leyland, paytm , oracle etc.

Tuition fee varies according to reservation catagory and income level. College has not increased the fees from last 2-3 years. complete cost of my education will be aroung 6-7 lakhs(four years). their are many scholarships like - NSP , swami dayanand sarsawati scholarship and many state scholarships.

1. Vibrant social atmosphere fostering a sense of community. 2. Diverse range of student-run clubs catering to various interests 3. Opportunities for cultural exchange and mutual learning through events and festivals.

Room - 1. Furnished rooms with basic amenities. 2. Common facilities like WI-FI , laundry and recreation areas. 3. Registraion process involves filling out forms and submitting documents. 4. Meals quality is good, sometime became bad but overall it is good. Most important thing is this that everything is not too much expensive.

Eligibility for NITJ is that you have to crack the JEE-MAINS exam and you have to qualify the cutt-off criteria released by the NTA. every exam NTA conductes the exam and whole process happens. Cutt-off varies according to category. Every category got benifit according to their respective catagory.

At NIT jalandhar , the faculty-to-student ratio is almost 1:15 , it has positive imapct on our study. The faculty members at NITJ are highly qualified , often holding advanced degrees in their respective fields. Interacting with faculty members is easy . We can meet them by going their cabins, by their E-MAIL id's and in the class time also .
