Remarks

My college days were most wonderful and I really enjoyed this part most in my life. I miss those moments!!

Entrance Preview

I applied for D.U admission on basis of D.U college cut off list and based on the cut off took admission in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum was one of the best.It was practically beneficial and job oriented. It was one of a few courses available in D.U which was according to industry requirements. Most of students opted same subjects as their full time profession. It was very well designed.

Internships Opportunities

No. There was no provision of internship. It was Government University and provided no such facility at that time.

Placement Experience

0.5

No. There was no provision of placements and job opportunities. It was Government University and provided no such facility at that time.It provided only basic graduation and we can specialize in subjects further as per our intent. Placement is a really big missing link at that time.

College Events

4

There were very frequent D.J parties in college campus and one major event was annual fest in which many singers/performers were invited to perform. The college annual day was also a big event celebrated in which talent showcase and prize distribution to various students and teachers were done.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a government university, it was really economic more than feasible. It also provided fee reimbursement to SC / ST / Handicapped students. The fee structure was very feasible it was as low as INR 600 per month. In return it allowed us to use student bus pass at very nominal concessional price.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship / loan facility was there. At least I don't have any idea about that. There might be some scholarship to SC/ST/Handicapped students.

Campus Life

4

Since Delhi University is a big institution there were a lot of opportunities in extra curricular activities. The campus life was really cool. There was good gender ratio and very healthy environment. But girls were a bit vulnerable due to outsiders entry in college premises.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

No Hostel and mess food.No Hostel and mess food.No Hostel and mess food.No Hostel and mess food.No Hostel and mess food.No Hostel and mess food.No Hostel and mess food.No Hostel and mess food.No Hostel and mess food.No Hostel and mess food.No Hostel and m

Alumni/Alumna

I do not have any idea about alumni network but senior students were very friendly and cooperative. They provided us with notes and other study related material. They were like friends to us and most of us shared good chemistry with each other.

Exam Structure

Being a science student we really need to frequently attend labs and it really turned most of our days into a busy schedule. Exams were conducted two time yearly and it was quiet cool as far as exams were concerned. Overall we can rate It was chilled out

Faculty

4

The faculty was mixed. But I'll like to specify Botany dept. it was really amazingly talented. The way they deal with students is just unbelievable. The professors had high knowledge quotient and they knew the formulae of how students should be kept engaged.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
