Course Curriculum Overview

College prepares a very easy curriculum, we don't have much workload and we are able to easily manage it . Exam happens every month , there are quizzes , mid sems , assignment and end sems. teachers teach through ppts or on board

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 1600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college is off during summer for 3 months and students are allowed to go for internship during that time . Companies like Tata Motors x Tata Steel visit campus for internship and they take a lot of students with them and also offer then PPO

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is very nice . Almost everyone gets placed here . Top companies of India visit here as it is one of the Government Funded Technical Institution . The average package is around 10 Lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is fixed for a certain batch and it won't be increased. The total tution fee is around 14 lakhs . There is a scholarship names GP Birla Scholarship which is provided to students on the basis of their grades per semester

Campus Life

There are annual fests like Bitotsav ,pantheon . Books are available in the Library which is quite big . All the rooms are air conditioned. There is a sports complex which consist of Gym , Football Ground ,badminton court , tennis court , basketball court

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are allotted to us during the time of admission. Room consists of Fan , Tubelight , one window , reck . Geysers are available in the hostel washrooms . Water cooler is also there. The food is not very good but edible

Admission

I got admitted through JEE Main. After JEE main i registered for counselling through JOSAA then i registered for CSAB . Finally in the second round of JOSAA i got this college . After that i came to college for offline counselling and got admission

Faculty

All the faculties members are very well qualified ,they hold btech , mtech and phd degrees. Each department consists of 25-30 professors . We have our WhatsApp group where they share all their information . We interact regularly with them in class and they are very helpful

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

1.The main thing about our campus, campus placements are so good. Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. And the highest package of our campus is about 60LPA offered by Amazon. 4.I planned to work after completing my B.Tech.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass

Overall Experience and all reality of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More
