Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is not that much perfect as in every sem's duration is not fixed . But every sem's compilation of subject is very good. The course consist of all required subjects necessary for the development of a marine engineering cadet.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 650000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Complete cost of education is 22.8L for 4 years of B.tech , 20L for Bsc and 7L of Diploma. Students getting 70% and above get scholarship sem- wise . There is an in-campus placement procedure. And assured placement of students.

Campus Life

The overall experience of the campus is amazing starting from different sports to hostels and academic area. Everything is well managed and programmed.Sports events and fests are also celebrated very amazingly.

Hostel Facilities

There are 3 hostels in the campus having several rooms. Each room has two students living in it. There is separate girl's wing also. In the first two hostels students till 3rd year live in and the third hostel is for the final year students.

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

Admission

The admission process is very straight forward which is to give the IMUCET exam first then fillup the application form on the college website. Eligibility criteria is PCM(65% and above in 12th standard) , imucet exam given and medical fit.

Faculty

Qualification of faculties is from bachelors to PhD in their designated subjects.Faculty to student interaction is good.My interaction with teachers is not much frequently to happen.Allover it is good.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

I applied to IMU Kolkata,Mumbai Port campus and Chennai alongwith it I also applied to AMET. I got selected in every college except AMET and I feel that Tolani Maritime Institute provides us with better facilities in every aspects compared to the other colleges I applied for. TMI the best college

I just applied for this college and I guess its much more better than other colleges due to high placement rate better campus environment and reviews from other ex students. Admission process is little bit complicated tho we have to give IMU cet, TMI SAT and TMI interview after clearing all three we have to clear medical then only we get Admissions and its must to have more then 60 percent in 10th and 12th....Read More
