Course Curriculum Overview
NiT offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering and technology. These programs are meticulously designed to provide students with a strong theoretical foundation combined with practical exposure.
Internships Opportunities
The student needs to work hard in order to crack an internship offer from the college or he/she may take internship offers off campus. Accenture, Infosys are the companies that provided internships to the final year student.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of our college is very active and nearly everyone gets placed at the end of 4th year. The top MNCs are Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Amazon, Ericsson and many more. This year the maximum package was 28lpa and the average salary is 4lpa. Many students opt for further studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The current fee structure of NiT is approximately 5 lakhs for engineering courses. There are scholarship offers available for the students. The Svmcm scholarship is available for West Bengal students and other Indian scholarships are available for students coming from outside of West Bengal. The placement cell is very active and most of the students gets placed in their final year.
Campus Life
The social life of our college is pretty decent. We have two fests in a year one Annual cultural fest named Navodaya and one Tech fest named Kritanj. Both the fest take place during the months of May and June. Other events also take place in our college like Holi celebration, and many more events.
Admission
The admission process was simple. One must appear in WBJEE and the cutoff for Electronics and Communication was 50k rank. The cutoff of this college is very high and one can get direct admission from the management quota. Admission fee is included in the total fee of the course.
