- My college is ranked as the top most government hospital in Odisha. I appreciate all the facilities available and I don't feel any field that requires improvement
- As I live in the hostel I am engaged with my seniors and my batchmates on a daily basis and yes we have a very nice social interaction.
- In the new infrastructure construction our college is even more growing in number of beds available for patients in the hospital along with improvement in the academic facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview
I like in helping people and it made me choose this field. Yes the studies are quiet tough and duties are hectic as well but when you get a smile from a cured patient that makes all the hard work worth it and I crave for it. I like to see a smile on patients' face. But nowadays considering the safety of doctor it is not wise enough for choosing this field....but it's totally upto you.
Internships Opportunities
Our college provides intership/house surgeon period of 1 year in which a monthly stipend of 42000 is being provided. We get to practice in the hospital learning how to handle cases on a day to day basis.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our tution fee is less considering other private colleges offering same course at about 100x price. Literally that is why a lot of students are giving NEET UG and competing for a seat in a government medical college for a lower fee structure. Scholarships are even available to students.
Campus Life
My campus life is very nice. I have a good social interaction on a daily basis. Our college also organises a yearly college fest, many other activities like rally and many functions (there is a function happening every week). Also we have intermedics in which other college students meet and yes it's a great experience worth cherishing. Our college also provides scope for many co curricular activities, I am engaged in the AVS(Audio visual society) society and it's enjoyable as I enjoy clicking pictures.
Hostel Facilities
I live in New Gent's Hostel-3, there are 3 UG hostels available. In each room we accomodate with 2 other batchmates/seniors. The meal provided is also upto the mark and affordable also. Registration process for hostel is too smooth and easily everyone gets a hostel room.
Admission
The admission process was smooth and was undertaken by OJEE as I took admission through state quota. I being a General student with no quota faced a higher amount of competition and I got my seat in SCBMCH, Cuttack in 2021 with a mark of 638/720. Nowadays the question level is decreasing and due to easier questions students are securing very high marks and that's why the cutoffs are skyrocketing.
Faculty
Our faculty members(Doctors) are very nice and cooperative. They teach us very well in clinical classes and as well as in theory classes. They help us in publishing various research articles and many other activities.
