Likes
- Professors are really good there, all are highly qualified. Professors are very cooperative and helpful.
- Campus life is very good. Campus is very beautiful, there's a lot of trees and flowers which makes it even more beautiful.
- Hostels are within the campus only, and hostel life is very good out there. Hostel food is also not that bad, one can easily survive on that.
Dislikes
- Students cannot go out of the campus
- The daily schedule is a little hectic because the classes are from 9 to 5 continuous and we get only 1 hour in between for the lunch.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of Btech CS-AI is really good as it contains all the necessary aspects needed in every semester. It is actually preparing us for the real world, for further internships and job purposes. Course curriculum can be improved a little otherwise it's good. There are 2 periodicals of 10 marks each in between the semester, then we have our semester exams at the end.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like JPMorgan Chase and Co., Oracle, Salesforce, Accenture, TCS, Amazon etc comes in the campus for placements as well as internship purpose. Stipend depends on the company and the role. Roles generally offered are of software developer.
Placement Experience
After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements in B.Tech. course. There are a lot of companies that visit like jp Morgan Chase and co., Oracle, Bajaj, TCS, Accenture, etc. About 85-90% students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of B.Tech. of my batch is about 2,50,000 of one year which includes of the hostel fee, tuition fee and other things. There are many scholarships for the students who can't afford, and there are scholarships also for those who excel in academics.
Campus Life
Tech fest named Mayukh takes place in the even semester, it is a great fest in which all the technical background students can participate. There's a wide range of books available in the library including the curricular books and fictional. There are a lot of sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus like gym, yoga, gymnastics, football, handball, dance, singing, violin, etc.
Hostel Facilities
An orient or Bajaj fan is available in the room, room may have 2 or 3 or 4 beds. There's a mirror in the room and almirahs as well but there is no provision of AC's or coolers. Meal quality is average, one can easily survive on that.
Admission
There's an application of about 700-800 rupees which needs to be filled first, then there happens an entrance test in the month of june, after clearing the entrance test they inform whether you've cleared their criteria or not and then they call you in campus and there happens an interview, through which they assign you the stream.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is good enough. Also, Faculty is very cooperative and helpful. They are highly qualified, residing from different parts of the country. They treat their students like their own children. Their teaching style is very effective and makes student understand the concepts in one go.
Interview Experience
Interview questions were general, also included some logical as well as general questions which asked about yourself. The process of admission is simple like you just have to fill an application form then you need to give an entrance test and then if you clear it hen you can take admission in the college.
