Likes
- Lacation and infrastructure of college is what i liked the most. Seniors are friend with ragging free campus. Strict actions are taken against ragging. Playing fields are available with all types of sports available.
- Campus life has been amazing . You can roam all your campus at any time. However, girls are allowed outside their hostels till 10 pm only. Faculties are highly knowledgeable and experienced. 75% attendence criteria needed to sit in end semester exam.
- Academic curriculum is such that you have to study your 2 core subjects in each semester in 1st year which is not so normal in comparison to most of the colleges. You might feel heavy in staring but woth the time , you will get used to it.
Dislikes
- One of the things to be diiked of the college is the academis load in its forst year. If have on an average 8 theory subjects and 5 lab subjects in each semester of 1st year. This is what you will hate after reaching the college.
- Other thing is what you gonna hate is the groupism prevelent in college.Groupism is terms of caste is the worst thing here, students fight just for their caste here.
- Academic load gonna kill you mentally and physicqlly, you will feel mental and physical exhaustment. This is when you gonna feel homesickness. Depression is normal in engineering colleges and same for this college also.
Course Curriculum Overview
Government job is what that help me to choose civil engineering. Government jobs has always attracted me. All masterpieces we see around aurself is tue art of civil engineers. Cons is that it has really less job i private sectors of civil engineers.
Internships Opportunities
Hundreds of company come to my college for placement seasons. You can also get internships you have good grades and required skills in your 2nd year only. All you have to make good CGPA and build required skills
Placement Experience
Placement has been decent from this college with average is around 13.5 lakhs per annum. You can get on campus placement if you have the desired skills which company needs. My plan is to appear for GATE exam and get into psu through it.
Fees and Financial Aid
The complete fees including hostel and and is around 9-10 lakhs for four years excluding any scholarship. Scholarahips are available along with students loan for economically weler section. You get get loans easily.
Campus Life
There are two types of prevalent fest that take place in my college, one is technical fest which held in November calld sphinsk. Other is the technical fest called blitzshang which is help in February month in first week most probably.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are not so good and not so bad. In first year, you get 3 person sharing room, but from 2nd year you get single room per person. Mess is good and eateble, sometimes it's good but sometimes it's bad.
Admission
To take admission in this college, you have to apply for jee mains exam and you need minimum 97.5 percentile (under 35000 rank) of you want any courses if you are from general category. You need atleast 75 percent in your class 12th exams
Faculty
There are almost 80 to 90 students in each batch. Most of the teachers come along with their phd Or m. Tech students. Faculties are highly educated but interaction between students and faculties is not much. Most of them do not show any intentions to teach. They just come to just be present, read ppt and go after period. All they care is about your attendence.
