Likes
- The education here is excellent and the atmosphere is classy. The proffessors actually teach very well. Nature here is so peaceful.
- We can actually manage our own degree and we can choose what to study as well. In vit they provide alot of opportunities to the students. The way the students wanted to be and wanted to achieve can be done here as well.
- Events and sports activities are regular in vit ap and there are multiple sports and also the are good hostels and the food is average but still good and studying here is fun.
Dislikes
- The students have to pay extra money inorder to come to the college from either railway station or from the bus station.
- The place where vit is located has so much temperature in the summer and sometimes it almost reached 42 to 45 degree Celsius.
Course Curriculum Overview
I will say that the curriculum is actually average and the frequency of the exams are kind of short. There should be a long curriculum. After considering all the pros and cons I want to give that a simple 8. Still the curriculum is something that has to be improved in cse
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are directly when the students are going for PAT(PLACEMENT SELECTION). in pat if u get selected then you will get internship offers from the companies and most of the companies are from like Wipro, nvidia, Microsoft and much more etc.
Placement Experience
The placements are pretty good and the average salary is 8lakh per annum and there is also a centralised placement system where the student in vit scores an overall gpa of 9 or above 9, he gets a chance to go to vellore for his placements to get a better chance. Almost 80% of students get placed. My plans are to study more
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is 1.95 lakh and varies according to the rank that is scored by the student, and if the student ranks below 40k in viteee, he gets a major scholarship and he has to pay the fee of 195,000 rupees, and then if their rank is higher, they have to pay the fee higher, and they actually give the student a loan too.
Campus Life
There are 2 major annual events held in vit ap. The first one is called vtapp, it is a technical event and the second one is called vitopia and this event is a fun and entertainment based event. Both of them are so fun and enjoyable.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities are pretty good according to me and the meal quality is average and the menu is not that much great from what I have expected. Student have to login to the payment portal and choose his hostel according to what he can afford and then the registration process completes
Admission
The admission process is so worst compared to the branches in vellore and Chennai. We have to submit alot of documents and also alot of procedures we have to go through. There are no reservation benefits and the college will send to fill the application form and the important dates.
Faculty
The faculty to the student ratio is 1 faculty for 4 students and most of the faculties are having a qualification from iit as PhD scholars or from vit vellore. Teachers are so friendly and we can easily approach them and they take care of us very well except a few proffessors
