My student life

We have many integrated courses offered in this college. It provides many ways to tackle real world problems. The course teaching is very relevant to the topic displayed. The college has lab hours for every subject every week to apply the subject knowledge into the real world. The areas of improvement are the methods of teaching as it can be a little more practical. Exams are frequently conducted and the difficulty level is rated with blooms level which will always be L3 or above.

The tuition fee of this college when compared to other colleges of this tier is very affordable. There is a gradual increase of college fee every year. The complete cost if my education will be around 6-7 lakhs for tuition and 4L for residence. Scholarships provided are ssp and hdfc etc which provide reasonable amount to students which is necessary.

There are 2 annual events tantra and taranga. They are usually held in the month january and may. It has a huge library with a vast number of books as resources available to borrow. The clubs here are very low as the permission to start a club is hard to be achieved. The clubs are less promoted too. The sports and extra curricular activities are fantastic. It has organisations like IEEE student branches as well.

The admission process takes a little time for about 2 hours as it has to go through various document verification. The application can be done through many competitive exams such DSAT, KCET, COMEDK and jee as well. Kcet and dsat are given first priority. The reservation benefits is the same as it is for other colleges across the country. Exams are frequently conducted, it has 2 internals or mid sem examinations in total and final sem examination at the end of sem.

Most of the faculties have completed their MTech and and many are pursuing post graduation as well. Their subject knowledge is highly appreciable and they are very good at teaching. Many have 8+years of teaching experience. The faculty to student ratio is well balanced and their experience in each domain is very helpful. We have office hours at the end of the day to interact with teachers so it is easy to approach them.
