Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is great, you have subjects like Universal Human Values which prepares you for the real world, Critical thinking and Technical writing. In first year there's Java. third year there's C and HTML. Professors are really nice. you can grasp any concept if you pay attention in class . They conduct 4 quizes every semester, 2 before mid sems and 2 after. each of 10 marks. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate to tough.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, ITER offers internships with stipend, which i dont have exact number data for. It offers summer internships. It also offers unpaid internships for the sake of experience. Im just a first year student so dont know much about it.
Placement Experience
3rd year students are eligible to apply for placements . Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, IBM, TCS come to iter to recruit. 850 offers were made last year. 1000 students got placed (on and off campus) . Highest package offered was 30lpa . Percentage of students getting placed is 85% . I will opt for placements on and off campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is little on the costlier side coming from a middle class. Basically it is 2.75 lpa + hostel facilities of 95kpa (optional) . There are scholarships and study lon options available. Placement record of this college is nice (so i have heard)
Campus Life
One major drawback is there are no annual fest . The clubs do host some events. The library is pretty great, all they have is curriculum books, the studying areas are quiet and good. phones aren't allowed inside the library only laptops are. The classrooms have smart boards along with a chalk board There is basketball court, badminton court , cricket field and game room in our college. One thing thats great about our college is the clubs and societies, they are very inclusive. The senior- junior interaction in the clubs are really encouraging and blissful.
Hostel Facilities
Both Ac and Non ac rooms are available. Food is okayish . Some wardens are nice , some are not. There are 3,4and 5 bed rooms available. You'll be provided with a bed , a table, chair and cupboard. hostel has common washroom. Cleaning staff is available. menu is okay. not too great. Hostel is costlier. There are many flats , mess and pgs available in jagmohan nagar.
Admission
The admission process was somewhat smooth . they will guide you nicely through it. Two ways to get into this college is through JEE MAINS or SAAT. Eligibility of the course is minimum 60% with PCM subjects in 12th . The application forms are available on the official website of the college. Test and Exams are kinda frequent. The level of difficulty is moderate to tough
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is somewhat okay. There are 66 students in my class. It is manageable to have one teacher for each subject. The faculties are very well educated .They are really helpful. It is ver easy to reach out to them with doubts and all. They are approachable. Just be on their good side
