Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Electrical engineering due to my background in it. Course is tough but has a lot to learn in it. It's a versatile field with application in every sector of industry so it has better placement rates. Expect an exam in every 2 months.

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 68000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Third year first semester is the compulsory Internship semester. We have to find an internship on our own. Most of the industry provide internship without stipend but most of them required connection in industry usually someones relatives or parents.

Placement Experience

Placement rounds start from 6 th sem and continue till 8 th sem . A separate TPO cell works on and takes special efforts for placement of students which has increased results. Hightes package in electrical department is 13 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees is 1,30,000? per annum for open category and it increases every year. Depending on Cast we get Maha DBT scholarships. For OBC it's 50% so about 68000?. For SC, NT it's 130? I guess.there are no campus employments.

Campus Life

Different clubs can be seen depending on one's personal intrest like for mechanical we have Bramhastra makeing buggy carts and quad bikes. Nemesis for go-cart . Nicola for E vehicles. Music clubs, dance clubs. There are two major annual festival. Ganpati festival and Maffick.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is available. Rooms are quite good but are small in size. It costs 70000? annualy. Mess is included but tase is worst. Only advantage of living in college hostel is easy access to campus other than that private hostels are available around the college but it would be at least 1-2 KMs away

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

Admissions can be based on MH-CET exams and it's cutoff changes every year but for latest reference check last year admission chart. Also JEE scores are valid for admission. Caste catagory are available and cutoff varys accordingly

MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
