- The campus life is great though area of campus is less than other colleges, but a lot of activities such as cultural days, annual fest, blood donation drive, sports and competition happens on regular basis
- Over all quality of students that arrive in college os of great level students from various parts of state and country come here for their graduation and posses a talented environment to develop themselves
Dislikes
- The quality of mess food is so degraded no one can withstand it also if opting for hostel mess is compulsory compulsory
- The department like electrical civil mechanical which are core department are strict with their attendance policy from others if you failed to manage 75 percent attendance you'll have to pay heavy fines which are also unnecessary
- The teaching staff quality has degraded over last two to three years though placements are happening but theirs a policy of one child one company due to which you have no option left. This is one of the most absurd and useless rule
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of my course Electrical Engineering is well designed to provide and skill me with the knowledge of all the core concepts of electrical engineering. Along with today's trend and important informations regarding the subject The course is designed in a way practicals and theory lecture happens everyday and practical exam as well as insem + endsem exams are also scheduled in an academic semester. The curriculum of core subjects are a bit different and difficult from others.
Internships Opportunities
The students have to find internship in their own, some companies hire students for live projects also. For branches like computer IT etc. through a hackathon like competition one can receive the internship offers. But mostly students have to find internship in their own.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from final year that is 7 semester itself. Before placements training on CV writing and personal interview. For placements email are forwarded for job opening so that students can register in Google form and appear for the placement. The only backdrop of training and placement cell if kkwagh engineering College is the one student one company policy which leaves you no option than to be happy with the company you have received. College only focuses on no. Of placements and not quality.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees varies as per the category for open, obc, SC st etc. state government also provides scholarship for category students. Mahadbt is an official website for government of Maharashtra which handles the scholarships of each and every category.
Campus Life
The campus life was quite enjoyable because of so many fun activities along with different types of clubs to join in overall for co curricular and extra curricular activities the college os worth it. Also sports activities are taken seriously with different types of sports such as cricket, basketball, indoor games etc. competitions happening on regular basis.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is quite good you get quite good room just enough for two people to live together. The quality of mess food is below average and is highly recommended to not opt for the college hostel especially boys as the mess facility is to be compulsory taken with hostel which costs around 70000 for one student for one year. The food is not at all worth it and anyone reading this should opt for rooms outside always.
Admission
I went through my JEE score students can also avail seats as per CET score. The cutt off varies each year for computer it's the highest also through choice filling you can avail the seats in respective college. Admission process is smooth if you're paying fees in spot.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good and many of them are qualified for their work. But the major thing is some of them are just degree holder and lack basic skills of teaching. The faculties are strict with their attendance and call goes to students home at regular intervals. Overall the faculty experience could have been better as the teaching quality is mid not good.
