The hostels are well furnished and the best among all the central university.
Faculty has good expertise in research and are too kind towards students.

Dislikes

Apart from the festival days and weekends i never liked the food in the mess.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is great when compared to all the state level colleges. We have the control over what to study and when to study. We can do the court which we desire. For ex: An ece student can take up cse course. (Only as an elective).

Placement Experience

There is a student placement cell which is run by the student to get the on campus placement. The highest package offered in the Institute is 35lpa and the least is 6lpa. Most of the student plan for higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is reasonable and there are no frequent hikes as it is a central university. The complete cost of the education including the hostel and semester fee is 750000. I have not taken any on campus jobs. You get the stipend if you work on some project with a faculty.

Campus Life

There is a technical fest conducted once in every year named "Vasisht",Which is very helpful for the student to showcase their talent to the companies and recruiters. There is a cultural fest named samgatha which is also conducted once a year.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is provided by the college for all students. And it is must for every student to stay in the hostel until and unless they have a valid reason to stay outside the college and come as a day scholar.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

The admission is done through josaa for Indian students. Based on the jee scores there will be a cut off for each course offered by the Institute. For the reservation candidate the fee structure is different and can get a financial aid too.

Faculty

There are many faculty in the college. I would say for every course you pick you have 2 faculty to choose. The average class size will be 60. The faculty are too friendly and some of them stay inside the faculty apartment which is inside the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

I applied to NIT CALICUT NIT SURATKAL, NIT TRICHY. For my trial round i got nit suratkal for EEE. But i shifted it to down and kept iiitdmk up..I chose this as it was the only college with Smart Manufacturing. Course and i was intrested in the way the curriculum was set including Cs,ece,eee Nd mechanical.As my jee score was not great to enter cse courses in nit calicut i got rejected there.
