Course Curriculum Overview
The coursw is pretty vast. While other colleges have 3 subjects maximum in last year final exam , we had 6 subjects total. Esp and sdp are necessary subjects to learn which includes basic of general knowledge and govt job exam syllabus and also gate specific syllabus. Also modern technology like quantum computing and nlp is also included in the course which is a plus point.
Placement Experience
The placement was very very good jn previous years. The total placement was around 90% and big mncs like accenture, tcs, capgemini , cognizant came to college for on campus drive in previous years. And there are lots of small to big start ups coming also. The average package can varry from 5-6 lpa. But this year 2024 due to recession the things were different . The only agency who hired in bulk was accenture . Capgemini came for only girls and TCS oncampus came but only selected 70 students have given the test from which only 40 were selected . 3-4 peoples selected in prime and the rest were selected in ninja and digital.there are some start up companies which came but they are taking only 1-2 students . So untill june 2024 only max to max 30% of the students got placed
Fees and Financial Aid
The only scholarship which you can avail is Swami vivekananda Scholarship. And the fees structure is quite simple . Every semester there is semester fees ( in our time it was 70,000 2020 batch , but now it increased to 90,000 rs) and there is a examination fees which we have to pay before semester examination fees(1000-1500, depending on number of subjects of that semester) . There is no hidden payments or the college does not want any money for anything else
Campus Life
The college really developped the environment and infustructure. The labs are now good and there are new labs which the college made for computer science students . There are a lot of cultural events happening at the college amd there are also cultural clubs and student chapters in the college. Overall the college provides quite everything from football , cricket league to badminton tournaments to college fest
Admission
There is a seperate exam called IEMJEE from which you can get selected and you can also avail scholarship via this exam. And there are seats for JEE mains and wbjee result and there are also direct admission . To be honest, from the direct admission anyone can join the college. But the college also have some of the really bright and highly passionate and intelligent students who are good in studies and had good jee rank still got into this college because the placement was good
Faculty
Some of the teacher are good and some of them have phd degree and have great knowledge. Many teachers are keen to help the students with personal guidance and will tell you whatever your query is . But there are some teachers out there who cant teach and just go through the ppt only
