The practical emphasise of the curriculum including projects, lab and provides valuable experience. These aspects ensure the students gain not only therotical knowledge but practical skills.overall teaching methods is good.

Subhd, techshilla, pega companies visited our university and these companies must take interviews of the students and select the best students and selected students join the intership. Student Create the projects

Placement Experience

Our university provide the placement.Eighth semester students become eligible for the campus placements. Pega, techshilla etc companies visited. Highest and average package of the students in our university is 10 lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Overall fees structure is 1.5lakh. In this university, provides more scholarship related to the students.Most of the students fill the NSP and Niskam scholarship and valuable amount provide to the students.

Campus Life

According to me, my overall experience is very good and awesome. In this campus we enjoy every function like annual day, sports day, kisan mela, engineering day. Every year celebrate the sports day and annual.

Hostel Facilities

According to me, hostel facility is overall good. Room facilities are cuburd, bed, chair, table, electricity, fan.Meal quality is good. Menu is good for breakfast, lunch and dinner and also provide some fruits and salad, milk and tea

Hostel Fee: INR 65000 per year

Admission

Student must be qualified 12th and if the students gain 85% they will get cutt off the amount of fees. There is a more scholarship for the students.No there is no difficulty in exam timing. The admission process is very good.

Faculty

The faculty staff is very good and supportive. They are knowledgeable and dedicated to their students success. They always encourage the students. Their passion for teaching is truly inspiring. They are always active.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
