I love the campus as it is quite big although it seems empty but still good
Placement is one thing I can say is very good
Faculty is good and overall experience is good

Dislikes

Mess food is not good at all and you are allowed to order only on weekends
Attendance system is not good
Facilities are not up to mark as it is government university

Course Curriculum Overview

Our syllabus is quite but for the upcoming batches the syllabus has changed and has been reduced alot which is quite helpful. So there is no need to worry about the syllabus. The syllabus covers alot of subjects making your knowledge quite wide.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 1100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is not high as I mentioned. It is 11 lakhs for 4 years for btech which not too much if compared to other colleges. The hostel and mess fees is already included. You only need to pay exam fees every semester

Campus Life

Overall the campus life is okay . It won't be exaggeration to say that the cpus seems empty despite being so big. There are sports available like cricket ,football ,basketball ,volleyball etc. Overall it's an okay experience

Admission

You need to take the common entrance test namely IMUCET which has the same syllabus as your 11 th and 12 th classes and it is quite easy to be honest . It takes place once a year. There is definitely reservation if you fall into the category

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is quite qualified according to their subjects. Some might not teach vwrry well but what do you expect in a government university. They will provide you the study materials definitely. Your effort will matter the most but.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Pros and cons of IMU Chennai

Actually I wanted to go to ts chanakya navu Mumbai campus it's better than imu chennai for bsc but that time I didn't know how to apply for counselling and I put imu chennai over ts chanakya on my preference list so I got imu chennai.I gave the exam in 2023 that time my rank was 1431 ews category so I would've easily got ts chanakya in first list but I thought chennai is the head quarters so it must be better.For being eligible for imu colleges you must have a score of 60% avg in pcm in 12th and. 70% in English in 10th and 12th .You must clear IMU-CET exam and after that apply for counseling process . After that if you are medically fit just go to the college verify your passport and other documents and there you go....!!!...Read More
