- The campus size is not that big, like other colleges
- Availability of minimum branch in btech only CSE IT and CT
- Don't have any mtech program in CSE but you can pursue in IT CT
Course Curriculum Overview
As it is a autonomous institute they have there own syllabus setup , they can change their subjects anytime if they thought that these subject isn't relevant for future. In one year there are two semesters in one semester you have three exams , Midterm 1 , Midterm 2 and end sem exam. End sem exam is lilbit difficult, if you started studying 5 days before the exam you surely get 9 cgpa
Placement Experience
From 6th sem students became eligible for placement Students placed in TCS Wipro cognizant Amazon geotech and other companies Highest package is around 13 lpa and 4 lpa is avarage package In CT department everyone got placed in companies like Saint gobain , Trl krosaki and many more
Fees and Financial Aid
In CSE , fees are around 6.5k and in IT fees are around 12.5 k and in CT fees are to low around 3k And you have pay 1200 extra per semester for examination fees. You can opt for svmcm scholarship, a state government scholarship. And college give scholarship to students those are financially weak . They considered full fees or half fees by judging your grades and financial condition.

The annual fest is jagriti an amazing fest , famous bands are perform in this fest a 2 day fest with lots of events, food stalls free foods and many more Also karmatek the tech fest of gcect filled with gaming robo wars coding contest hackathon and many more The Library is amazing fully air-conditioned have access with computer with wifi and fully automated library.
Admission
The college take direct addmissions from wbjee exam . It is an government college so there are no direct admission in college or no donation addmission. If give wbjee and fullfill the criteria then only you can take admission. If you scored rank under 4k then get CSE And if you scored under 5.5k then you get it and if you plan for CT 8k or 9k it goes maximum

They are well qualified professors , have depth knowledge in what they are teaching, solve your problems in seconds . Most of teachers shares a lovely and friendly bonding with the students. If you stay in touch with them , you will explore so much things which you've doesn't imagined before.
