Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum and the course is excellent and on par with any similar course offered by other colleges. The syllabus for each subject is comprehensive as well as consise and the subject options are also very great.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are not that great as they are not as abundant as the placement offered. The projects are usually in line with actual industry projects. The experience gained will also be very good.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for the campus placement in the 3rd year. The companies that visit are excellent as compared to the other colleges on the same level. Vit claims 100% placement as well as an average package of 6lac.the highest package is in excess of 70lac rupees.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees are based on the rank you get when you give the entrance exam, the fees for people with a worse rank can get very high. The other charges while existing, are not very significant. There are scholarships but they we are not made particularly aware about them.
Campus Life
There are 2 annual festa being the technical technovit and the cultural fest vibrance. The library is excellent in its infrastructure as well as the resources it provides. The facilities in the classrooms are average being just a projector and speakers. The labs are much more well equipped with all the necessary machines. The sports facilities on the campus a are very good with equipment and space available for every sport. The availability of student clubs is also very abundant and very great.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel as a whole is very poor. The rooms are provided on the basis of attendance and may include ac. All the rooms include cupboards and beds as well as tables and chairs. The meal quality is very bad. The locality of pg and rooms is good but the college doesn't allow you to stay outside.
Admission
The admission is based on an entrance exam. When you give the exam, you are given a rank. This rank decides the fee you have to pay and the courses you get to select afterwards. The exam can be improved by making it multiple rounds of exams rather than only one
Faculty
The faculty memebers although having excellent credentials, sometimes lack in teaching abilities. Vit trues to solve this by using ffcs but some teachers are just very stuborn and view students as below them.
