Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum was quite good, as it was a mix of both practical and theoritical learning. We had 2 semister a year, with Internals and presentation in each semister, The difficulty level was moderate.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internship opportunity are not their in the college, but their are various informal groups, in which internships opportunity used to come, In short if one wants to do a internship they can do it, their are opportunities avlaible.

Placement Experience

3

I did not sit for the placement , so I am not very much aware about the placement, but placements are their in the college, many of my friends opt for the same.

Fees and Financial Aid

The best part of the college was it's fee, it's approx 20000 for 3 years, as one can get admission only through the merit basis, but the cost of living is quite expenssive in mumbai, approx 25000 per month The college too provide the job opportunity,

Campus Life

3.5

Their were so many educational and entertainment festival are their in the college throughout the year, which gives a great oppoutunity to make a good network. Every classroom is top noch, very well technologically equipped.

Admission

The college id having a strict admission policy, which is only through the merit basis. In 2019 the last cut off closed at 88%. The application form is avaliable online, One have to fill Mumbai university (MU) form first, and then Narsee monjee form. Their was Reservation for Gujrati, And for few more category, which i am not able to remember, you can check it out on the college website. The Admission was was the only thing that I did not like about the college, after the merit list comes, they only gives 3 days for enrollment, which needs to be done by being in the campus, In 2019 that was the case, I am not sure for the present Admission process, One can check it on their website.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio was 1:25 Our factulty was quite good and they had a good teaching Experience. We can interact with our teachers any time, in between the college hours, when they were not having their lectures.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
