Clean and green environment surrounded by mountains

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very well designed and is very effective. Teaching methods are also very well . They provide you with many course handouts and examination papers. Teachers are also very cooperative and helpful.

Internships Opportunities

Yes there are many intership opportunities here which is provided through college mail and placement cell. Many companies come here to provide internship opportunities to the students in 3rd year and give good package too .

Placement Experience

Placement is quite good for a private University. Average package is 6-7 lacs and placement cell will help you get through the placement process. There are also internship opportunities which companies offer.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is that you have to pay 70000 every semester and 33000 if you want to live in hostel. No there are no scholarships at University end and no campus employment opportunities. If you're having financial issues you can get a delay in fee payment

Campus Life

There are many clubs which you can join here like dance club or painting or theatre and many more. The overall environment is very good here locals are also quite kind if you ask them for help. Social skills can be enhanced

Hostel Facilities

We have 3 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel here . I boys hostel we have common washrooms in each side of the floor and there are 5 floors . Each room has 4 beds 4 almirah and 4 study table with balcony and a cooler

Hostel Fee: INR 33000 per year

Admission

Addmission process is very simple there is no cut off or anything anyone can take admission here. Just go to the website and book addmission then the representative will call you and assist you further

Faculty

The faculty is very good in terms of teaching students but they don't do anything to encourage the students of you get caught doing anything they give you fine without even listing to what you have to say

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi. I got a confirmed admission from many colleges like BML munjal university, GNA university, Chandigarh university, etc. I chose this college over other because it was not too costly and crowd is less compared to other private universities.
