Teacher are so friendly and they always help students like they are their own children
The classroom are so big and with high tech instruments
Classroom are attached with ac and so comfortable

The canteen food is not so good its average

Sometimes the sem time is so short thats why have not enough time to study

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course is too safe for any placement. Because wehn we will pass out it gaurantees placement to every one of the students. Though the salary varies . No one have to stay jobless for long periods. Thats all

Class Size: 2Course Fees: INR 477000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our total 4 years course fee is 477000. And 1year Hostel fees is 66000 . Our one semester fees is roughly around 55000 to 60000. It depends on which year we are present in. And our 6 months hostel fee is 33000 means 5500 per month

Campus Life

Our campus is so good . Full ragging free campus. Seniors are so friendly and treat us like they are our older brother and sister. So helpful. Our college has So many clubs like Fest club. Cultural club etc

Admission

At first we have to appear in to webjee exam. It's a entrance exam for any technical course like engineering pharmacy etc. after that we have to do counselling online . And the selection process is started already through ranking

Faculty

I am from JIS university and b.pharm 3rd yr 6 sem Currently. Our JIS university have good faculties and they help students like they are our parents. Our classrooms are attached with AC and projectors thats all

Placement Experience:

Placement are not so good but I can confirm you that if you are good in studies then you will have a min package of 50LPA .Every pharma companies in india or out india contains our alumnis as well as you will get a polite and respectful behaviour in every company after knowing you r passed out from Iopj .

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Remarks:

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.

By WBJEE or AIEEE exam you have got a rank for admission in this college.There are 3 concealing process by the wbjee rank card. Then you have to varify your document in reporting centre , after that you go to the college for the admission.
